20th ANNUAL
CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
A GREAT SUCCESS!

On February 6, 2010 several hundred people mobbed Catherine McAuley High School in Portland for the celebration.

2010 Chinese New Year

In the auditorium a SRO crowd took in a program of song and dance by the children of the Chinese School. The Costumes and choreography were wonderful and the performers, from toddlers to polished teens, delighted the audience.

Meanwhile in the gym vendors offered books, videos, postage stamps, clothes, and varied cultural materials. Also in the gym were tables where children could assemble TIGER crafts. Several mah jongg tables beckoned anyone who wanted to try the game.
